How far in advance can we book?
The AGO will accept bookings as far in advance as the venue is available. However, pricing for events booked beyond one year in advance will not be guaranteed.
When do I need to let the AGO know my final guest count?
A guaranteed guest count must be provided three (3) business days prior to the event.
How much are tickets to the Gallery?
Adult admission tickets are $19.50 per person for less than 10 guests and $15.60 per person for 10 guests or more.

Visit and enjoy our Special Exhibitions in the Sam & Ayala Zacks Pavilion. Special Exhibtion tickets for adults cost $25 per person for less than 10 guests, and $20 per person for 10 guests or more.
How much is a Gallery tour?
A hour-long tour can be provided by an Education Officer during regular Gallery hours at a cost of $200, maximum 20 per group.
Can I visit the Gallery after regular hours?
Private, after-hour tours of the AGO permanent collection are available for a private access fee of $1000, plus security, admission and the cost of the Education officer. The private access fee for Special Exhibitions is $2000.
Is the AGO accessible for guests with disabilities?

Can I have a musician or DJ in the private event space?
Unfortunately, no. AGO Bistro restaurant has a curated playlist that is piped through the entire restaurant.
Can I have a projector and screen for my event?
Yes, a projector and screen can be made available at an additional cost. Please speak to your Event Sales Coordinator for more details.
Can my presentation have sound?
Yes, the presentation can have sound with the volume at a reasonable level.
Can I hang decorations in the in AGO Bistro?
No, hanging decorations in AGO Bistro is not allowed and tape cannot be put on the walls.
Does the artwork change on the walls?
Yes, artwork on the walls is subject to change and usually changes every three (3) months. It is not guaranteed that art will be on the walls for functions at AGO Bistro.
Where can I park?
Parking is not available on-site; however, there are many lots in the area. Visit toronto.bestparking.com for a complete list of nearby parking locations. Valet parking can be arranged for an additional cost.
How are payments made?
Upon booking, a signed contract agreement and draft estimate is created for your event. An initial non-refundable deposit of 75% of the estimate is required to secure the booking. A detailed estimate will be created during the planning of your event.
The final balance is due within 30 days post-event date.
A certified or personal cheque may be presented as payment. All charges are calculated in Canadian funds.
Should you wish to make payment by credit card, the AGO will allow up to $5000 payment towards final charges with use of credit card.
